I also pledged 20 years ago and I also come here this time of year. I remember that shirt, but can’t remember which house had it. I also wish these girls nothing but the best. These are seriously the best four years of your life. So make the most of them and don’t get upset when a house drops you. That one just wasn’t meant to be and you just need to open your eyes and heart to the ones you have left on your card. Twenty years ago we called pref “serious night.” I had a big mix of houses - one Old Row, one top New Row and one bottom New Row. And I was TORN. I went with my gut, got my first choice and it all worked out. Ended up marrying my colllege sweetheart, who I met through my sorority. Couldn’t have asked for a better four years there in Tuscaloosa or a better 16 years since. Roll Tide! Y’all keep us posted on how rush is going this week!
