If you're on some sort of cut list before the week starts it's either your GPA or a QR notice from an active or alum (like you stole money when you were prom chair or you are a well known bully). There is nothing you can do about these, you will never know if that's why you were cut, there is no reason to worry about this. Most PNMs fall in a middle place and we are looking forward to meeting you. Do your best to stand out in conversation and presentation so you rise up our invite lists! "Unknown" PNMs make up important parts of our chapters because no chapter will get every PNM they are interested in prior to rush, some of these turn out to be duds in person, and not every legacy wants to go to her legacy chapter. The only thing you have control over at this point is how you interact with us on the day. And if you do want a leg up, make the late in the day parties easier for us because we are just as tired as you so if conversation at the last couple of parties each day goes well with you, we will remember you even more for saving us!
