I was bored and curious about what the effect of having fewer PNMs is on how many parties we have overall, so I looked at the Greek chics. Last year, despite having less PNMs than in 2016, we actually had the most parties we’ve ever done. I remember some getting cancelled bc we didn’t need them but I don’t remember which ones so I just stuck with what’s in the Greek chic. For IWT 2017 we had 28 parties, this year we should have 24. Philanthropy was 22, this year is 20. Sisterhood was 18, this year is 16. And pref has gone down from 9 to 5 parties. That’s a total of 77 parties for last year and 65 for this year. Honestly last year was so busy and sometimes miserable finishing so late every day, so hopefully having 12 fewer parties will make things more manageable. After doing close to 80 parties last year, being a PNM seemed like a breeze. Also if anyone’s curious I looked up other SEC schools. The only one I found that lists out parties like we do is UGA and this year they will have 44 parties total. Kinda puts into perspective how absurdly massive our rush is. So anyway...... hope everyone’s work week is going well lol
