Give us a break... most of us are regular women and not beauty queens. We are looking for more from a person than just looks. Are you friendly and do you think you could be a good friend? If so, you pass the one main requirement most groups are looking for. If you are not confident about looks, spend time now thinking about conversation. Google sorority conversation and read through several advice sites, then pick conversation starter ideas topics that you can relate to yourself or that will be an easy segway to interesting story about you or your experiences. Practice bringing these up in conversation as you meet other new PNMs as they settle in this week to help yourself feel more confident during recruitment conversations.Remember, many freshmen women do not know anyone, so you reaching out in conversation will be appreciated by all right now and will help you see PNMs as regular women and hopefully new friends too.You can be interestingly attractive in other ways besides looks!
