All true. I would add... If released for GPA, get your grades up and go through recruitment again. If not too happy with your house on bid day, try to have as much fun as possible that day despite your diappointment. Then do not drop right away, you have nothing to gain by doing so except sitting in your dorm room. Stay and participate in everything you can right away to see if you actually do fit or to see if your fit improves. You have until initiation to see how things go and by then you will know what kind of experience that house will give you and will have better information to decide if you can be happy there of if you should drop.
