I wish I knew that just because it feels like a house is hard core rushing you (introducing you to the president, putting you with seniors, etc), it doesn't mean they're gonna keep you around. Houses are desperate to keep their retention rates high so they do what they can to make sure you rank them high and want to go back. I was rushed hard by a great house and was totally expecting to go back but was cut after the first day, which was a bummer! Houses put on a show to keep their numbers up.
