i can only speak for my sorority... the rules are more strict while you're in the new member period (before you're initiated). you shouldn't smoke but if you do you have to sit down and cross your legs. no wet hair in public. no photos with cups (even when you're an active). no drinking in letters (game-day i usually an exception). if you drink in letters make sure its in a cup with no logos indicating whats in it. no drinking the week of initiation. dress up initiation week. closed toed shoes initiation week. you also have study hours during first semester the rules really aren't that hard to follow though it seems like alot
