I agree that there is nothing wrong with COBing if formal recruitment didn’t work out but your attitude that rush went poorly for you because of a “mistake” because of a common last name is total BS for me. Especially the attitude that “even DZ, Theta, and GPhi” dropped you after IWT They probably just didn’t like you and dropped you because of that. I have an S last name and was with all the “Smith’s” and from what I remember they all had good schedules with no issues over the generic last name.
