Please try harder when you troll this site. You're a moron. MERIT - "the quality of being particularly good or worthy, especially so as to deserve praise or reward." Merit Scholarships are automatically awarded to ANYONE of any income bracket, who has at or above a specific GPA and SAT/ACT score. There is no application to fill out, and no additional steps to take. You have the grades and the test scores and you get accepted into the school, YOU GET THE SCHOLARSHIP. It's not that hard. Even your little troll mind should be able to figure it out. OOS Merit scholarships offer more money, but because in state is less expensive, they cover the EXACT same things. If you are Bill Gates kid, and you are a NMF or you have a 4.0 and a 1600 on your SAT, guess what? You get a full ride. They do not consider wealth or location. Can you turn it down? Probably, but no sane person, rich or not, would.
