Not necessarily heart break, Im from far OOS and had recs sent to about half the houses where I knew family or friends. I had an open mind and rush went well for me, got most of my favorites each round, full cards and ended up in the house that I wanted - a favorite which built up over the week. BUT, I did get cut after IWT from one relatively low ranked house, that I kind of liked and rated reasonably high - had a close family friend who remains active in her chapter alumnae (not Bama) send a rec. Had good convos. I’ll cant figure that one out. It still just kind of bugs me a bit.
