Coming from someone who didn’t get her first choice house: it’s okay to be upset. It’s okay to spend at least part of bid day and even new member retreat thinking you’re in the wrong house, considering dropping, calling your mom upset, etc. But don’t make any decisions until you give it a try. My opinion of my house during rush came more from other people than myself. After I spent time with my sisters, went to events, and got my big, I knew I was actually in the right place.
