PNMs need to keep an open mind and really take a better look at houses that are inviting you back. These houses have 400 people spending a lot of time and paying a lot of money to be a part of them. There has to be something really great about each one for that to happen. Your feelings will change through the process but you will find a great place if you are open. I loved my house during IWT and ranked them in the top 3. Listened to a little tent talk and didn't quite feel it the next round and down it went to the middle of the pack. The final 2 rounds I clicked again and felt so comfortable there. TBH I ranked it 2nd out of my 3 pref houses but had regrets once back in the dorm. It all worked out and the house that I ranked 1 (a high prestige house but not me) would have been a horrible fit. Both my 2nd and 3rd would have been fine and I love my house.
