I read this in the "Filler Girls" post, " And before you jump down my throat about old row not being what it used to be, it has nothing to do with the label "old row" these houses are just better all around and desired by ALL pnms based off the qualities these houses have to offer, not the fact that they're old row." What qualities make the OR houses better all around? What qualities do they offer that some of the NR don't? Better grades? More involvement? Better sisterhood? Better alumnae connections? Better social life? I don't see it and I look forward to someone changing my mind. OR/NR was based on what fraternity boys thought thirty or forty years ago. It's not based on the year a house was chartered or on any type of merit. Was it based on attractiveness and socialness or even which girls were dating boys in certain fraternities at the time? Most likely! None of that has any relevance today.
