I had the same exact situation except I’m from the south and had recs for all houses— I was cut to 1 for pref. It’s really hard and a little demoralizing but you have to just want to be in any sorority. I disagree on one thing— I would still have taken a bid to some of the houses that cut me for weight. They have to get rid of girls somehow, and to be honest my house would cut for weight if our return rates were higher. I just don’t think it’s that personal.
