Nothing is going to change the education you get at Bama because of the house you get in. It’s unlikely to change who your grades/study habits or the grades you get. Houses that rank low in terms of grades still have many girls on Deans and Presidents lists. The house you get into changes who you will socialize with. OR - will be focused on socialization with kids primarily from Alabama and the region - MS, LA, GA certain pets of TX. To some students here this is critically important. If that’s you - make your house selections around such - whether you really like the house or not. If not, then I’d suggest you solely focus on the houses where you “feel most connected” during recruitment. \n\n\n\n\n
