A filler girl is a girl who is given a bid because the house needed to make quota. There are filler girls in EVERY house. Filler girls are commonly brought up as a way to discredit Old Row houses in particular. Most OR houses tend to fill up half of a pledge class with friends and top instate recruits but fall short with curating a good pledge class for the other half. The other half of the pledge class is primarily made up of filler girls, girls who basically got in on dumb luck. A lot of filler girls are very average PNMs which is why you then tend to hear a lot about "mixed pledge classes."
