Ouch. It'll be rough. A freshman PNM with a 3.0 is basically a grade risk. So a sophomore with a 3.0 will not be highly sought after. It basically comes down to this - you've been in college for a year. You know the ropes and you've been around the block. Your college GPA reflects you must better than how a high school GPA reflects an incoming freshman. That being said, houses will look at your grades and say "they'll always be this low and it's not worth taking an upperclassman." If you know girls in some houses that'll help you a lot so I'd suggest reaching out to them if you know any.
