No... really a risk adviser (who can not spell). I am a Bana alumna and sm a risk adviser at another college. No B'ham mom would know about MJ Insurance. I am just informing you of what your insurance company has determined: if there is a gathering of sisters, even if unofficial, it becomes an sorority event. If you are breaking sorority rules, i.e. drinking without filing for event for event with alcohol coverage, the sorority will not have insurance and can not protect you or your sorority. I think this policy update came out last year. If something happens, you, your sisters, and your advisers can all be sued. Don't wish this for you or your parents. FYI, sororities are mostly sued by their own members.
