There are reasons fewer houses participate in Derby Days...it has been demeaning in the past to ask sororities to do stuff in competition to win Derby Days. As for pomping, I honestly think the whole tradition should move in the direction Theta is taking it. If you're going to put all this time into making a sign, then do it for a good cause. Votes towards winning pomp should be dollars contributed to in name of a sorority's charity.
