This literally turned into a whole old row rant while making up excuses for new row houses. It is VERY possible to not have to take a wide range of pledges. Look at zeta pi phi and adpi and a few years ago maybe alpha phi. They all manage to get good pledge classes without relying on connections and location. And if the connections and location bother you so so much remember that life's about who you know! It matters even when it shouldn't. Also unknown girls make it into old row houses ALL the time this site just makes it seem like it's impossible. Also your comment that "oor houses are known to be good people" is just plain rude
