Where exactly would you even go? All the fraternities are busy with swaps and (if you’re a girl) new members are not allowed to go to bars until initiation. I have some close friends who are gdi’s but freshman year Thursdays were my nights to hang out with exclusively my house and get to know more people. You can go out on Friday and Saturday with friends in your house and/ or your gdi friends so I wouldn’t recommend blowing off one of the best opportunities to make lots of new friends in your house.
