For a lot of OOS students it is. Alabama's tuition is not really anymore expensive than any other OOS state school, and a lot of us are here are practically full rides. If you aren't here on a scholarship, obviously it is more expensive than your own state school, but for what I'm studying, it's a better school thank my State school
