to go off what you said about there not being a cut off for grades, i know houses with lower gpas also feel like they can't really change... these houses (such as aphi, dz, gphi) are forced to take grade risks and they can't necessarily "choose" girls with higher grades because they don't necessarily have the upper hand during rush as other more desired houses do. and if we're being honest, a girl who didn't do too well in high school isn't going to suddenly become a straight a student in college. ALL houses would benefit from being able to be more selective during rush.
