All due respect, but did your sister go to school in the south? Specifically in the SEC and even more specifically at Bama? Her advice might be right for where she did go, and I'm sure she means well and wants the best for you, but unless she knows SEC rush -- the most competitive sorority recruitment in the the nation -- she doesn't need to be saying what you can definitely expect. (See comment 21 for a little info about it.) Believe me, with 2000 PNMs rushing, you'll be far from the only one with exotic looks. One, not all southern lassies are blondes, and two, Bama has women rushing from all over the country. You're talking some cream of the crop competition. Most PNMs do find sorority homes if they rush right. (Again, see #21.)
