I was referring to recruitment only. I meant they might get dropped from houses because of their GPA or they might decide to drop out of recruitment because of the houses they have left. I still think it would be worthwhile to go through as a freshman because they still might get picked up in a house they love and have a great year. Unfortunately, they might not get picked up by anyone, but then they will have a great idea of what recruitment is like and know that grades are really important.The world is competitive, not just recruitment. Unfortunately grades are important everywhere The key is to not take it personally if they are completely dropped and hopefully understand they need to get their grades up.
