In the past, it has been: Green zone = 3.0 Yellow zone = 2.8 - 2.99 Red zone = 2.79 or below Now it is: Green zone = 3.2 Yellow zone = 3.0 - 3.19 Red zone = 2.99 or below I rushed as a freshman in 2016, and I was outgoing, had great recs, cute social media, got compliments on my dresses/makeup at almost every house, and I thought that I was going to have a great rush. I was dropped because of my 2.95 GPA. I re-rushed as a sophomore with a higher GPA and now I am in a house that I love. I thought that my personality, looks, recs, money, and style would outweigh my lower GPA. It didn’t. If you are going through recruitment this fall with a GPA under 3.2, please don’t get your hopes up about getting a bid, because you will probably be very upset like I was my first time through rush.
