@omg nope, a family living a comfortable “middle class” life in Alabama would never be able to afford the equivalent lifestyle in a big city on the east or west coast. Even if the classification is technically the same, what is generally considered middle class is not the same across the board. If you consider yourself middle/ upper middle class and are from outside the south, you will be just fine in Greek life here
