middle class in Cali is still middle class here. Yea AL is poor, but that's because there are a lot of lower class families, the actual classes themselves don't shift. if you consider yourself middle class in NY or where ever, the same applies here. most houses won't judge you on that as long as they don't have any reason to think that you can't pay dues/stay at UA for 4 years.
