Why is it that sorority gpas are always so much higher than fraternity gpas? This isn't just an Alabama thing, all of my hs friends' schools have it too. I just find it particularly surprising at a school like Alabama where sorority rankings are based so heavily on gpas as opposed to looks, involvement, philanthropy, and competitions like it is at most schools (not saying this is a good or bad thing, just that it's weird that fraternities don't hold their members to similarly high standards).
