I'm going through recruitment this fall, and it feels like there are so many unofficial rules that I can't keep up with. So example.. Do you clap after the door songs or do you just kinda stand there until they take you in the house? Do you shake the active's hand when you meet them or just jump into conversation? Are you supposed to bring up your accomplishments or is that precocious? Is it okay to ask questions about the active talking to you? Do you only wear heels on pref night? How does everyone keep from getting super sweaty all day?
