I’m assuming if you know a decent number of girls in your legacy house that you’re either an in house legacy or from somewhere with a lot of girls who go to Alabama. Unless you’re an in house legacy, I don’t think you need to be too worried about being cut because you’re a legacy to a different house. If you are an in house legacy, DEFINITELY emphasize that you are not set on just joining her house (“I chose to go to Alabama and go through rush because my older sister (or whoever) went here and I saw how much she loved Alabama and being in a sorority here, but I still want to make sure I have my own experience and can find a home away from home that’s best for me) In house legacies are less likely to choose a house besides their legacy, but it DEFINITELY happens. Girls who are legacies from different schools generally feel much less pressure to stick with their legacy house and frequently choose different houses.
