How did you get off on the court tangent? She said nothing about taking anyone to court. You should forget about it and move on....most likely the guy is just saying that to get to you for breaking up with him. If she already sent in the rec saying nice things, how credible would her second rec be saying terrible things. If you are worried, go to local alumnae boards and ask if an alumna will help you with recs.
