You can't really drop a house, but I put a different house over my legacy house after Pref, and took a bid to the one I put first. I didn't have a single thing against my legacy house. I would have been perfectly happy there, if that's where I got a bid. I just had a stronger connection at a different house, and their philanthropy had more meaning in my life. Luckily, my relatives that made me a legacy there didn't care. I agree with the other comments though, that Legacies get dropped by houses more than Legacies drop their houses. There are so many legacies at this point, that some houses couldn't possibly keep all of them, sadly.
