Your question implies that you are from the Midwest and want a bid from old row..... I don't mean this negatively, you may find at recruitment an OR house suits you, but there is no reason to have that bias coming in. OR holds significance to local girls with HS and church friends that are predominantly in those houses. It matters when you go back to Birmingham, Mobile, etc. Other than that, they had led no particular intrigue nor are they populated with "better" girls. Keep an open mind. Not saying you won't find a place there, but being from the MW makes recruitment easier in a way. You don't have to feel the pressure of selection from girls in your home town.
