What DD said is spot on. I pledged a house that doesn’t have the “smart girl” reputation and at first I really questioned my choice. I quickly realized there are smart girls in every house and found girls in my chapter that really valued academics and liked to have fun! Even though there are a lot of generalizations about chapters, a girl that’s the opposite of a house rep can fit in perfectly, and a girl who “fits the mold” can feel completely out of place. It’s more about your attitude Hope this helps :)
