I'm a 3x Alpha Phi legacy rushing this fall. My grandma and mom really want me to join Aphi because they're really proud of their affiliation and are still involved with nationals and donate regularly. However, I don't think they're aware of the current stigma surrounding alpha phi at bama, and just to be honest I don't think I'd fit in at that house anyways (I'm pretty average looking and I really care about my grades.) I'm scared that if I don't go Aphi than my family will be upset, but if I do go Aphi then I won't truly fit in. Anyone have any thoughts regarding my situation?
