My mom always brags that they weren't even allowed to wear their letters (not at UA, but another SEC school) if they didn't have full hair and make up. She also points out that they would have never worn athletic shorts outside of a gym. I keep telling her that it isn't really anything to brag about, but she clutches her pearls more about that than anything else in Greek life. My dad just always wonders out loud how many of those athletic shorts actually see the inside of a gym. Honestly, I do wear the sorority "Uniform," but it isn't because my house makes me, so much as it's comfortable, and easy. If I feel like wearing something different, I do, and no one has ever said a word to me about it.
