Honestly not everyone in my sorority was super popular and I’m in an old row. I was probably how you were, I was a cheerleader and had a decent amount of friends but I wasn’t at the top of the social standings by a long shot, and I’m southern OOS and still had a pretty good recruitment. That might hurt in state girls who know a lot of active members, but as long as you’re social and can look presentable and were involved in your respective activities in high school you should be fine as an out-of-stater. Also, less girls than people think are stuck in high school. former “popular kids” associate with “nerds” lol, it’s a different time in your life
