get any of the girls you know, even if they are freshman, to make sure your name is on the spring rush list if the sorority is participating next semester. the COB events are invite only, the sororities do not actively look at the COB forms to decide who to invite, it is all by friends getting your name on the list (i.e., word of mouth). with that said, you don't need to know the girls really well, if they know you and think you might get along in their house, that is fine. you should see if those other houses are participating too and ask to be put on their invite list. getting invited to COB events does not guarantee a bid, but you won't be put on the list without asking. good luck. it's how i joined. i went to 4 houses but didn't like one so i didn't return, got three bids, and luckily got a bid and joined my favorite house.
