hi! I don't go to bama, but I do go to a very big school with a very big greek system! I didnt want to post this on my own schools page bc I want to remain as anon as possible and I've read through posts here and really think people here have a lot of experience with what im dealing with. I went through rush and truly loved my experience. I got a bid to a top tier house and LOVE my house. the thing that bothers me, is Im not sure how much the house loves me. I have friends and im crazy involved, but the older girls, especially exec, seem to treat me as just a rush crush. I was a rush crush of a former president so it carried a lot of weight. I've spoken to older girls and they've told me that even though I was a rush crush I could've been dropped for any reason, it just feels like sometimes that being a rush crush is the only reason I got in. I did pref another top tier house (my school only does 2) but the other houses on my list before pref were mid and bottom (not that it matters but just perspective) so I guess my question is how do I deal with feeling like I only got in because I was a rush crush? it just seems like my friends who got in bc the girls truly liked them are having different experiences with older members than Im having. thank you!! sorry this is so long
