everyone likes to go on and on about why ranks are irrelevant and everything, talking on about how we don't need them because they're mean and biased. Its true, they are kinda mean and always very biased, but they're needed! girls join sororities to make friends, go to parties, and get involved on campus. Without ranks and descriptions of the sororities, PNMs will have an awful time trying to find where they fit in. PNMs want to know that AXO girls are more involved and that KKG girls party a little harder. its awful, but its true that top tier houses have a better social scene. they get invited to more date parties, told about better tail gates, and people make note when they see a girl walking around wearing top tier letters. you can tell me ranks are biased and irrelevant, but everyone, PNMs and actives, like to see how their house stands in the ranks in everyone else's eyes. sorry.
