I was the person who made the response regarding girls from wealthy families and girls here on scholarship. Most OOS girls on scholarship did not grow up saying The University of Alabama was their dream school. But, for all the reasons you have stated above, they became attracted to UA. Most girls coming to UA on full scholarship have something special to add to UA, this the reason they were given said scholarship. Girls that come from a rich ( notice, I am not saying wealthy) background- academically, financially, philanthropic- have experiences that houses would welcome members to share with other members. And, with those additions, maybe their own children will grow up wanting and dreaming to attend The University of Alabama. All that matters regarding money is can you afford the current dues.
