It's not worth it. Joining an established chapter will be so much more fulfilling and fun for you. Being a charter member would be a completely different experience and so much more work. I just don't think it's worth it even as a legacy. A lot of greeks on campus don't like Sigma Kappa as it is and there will be a stigma that comes with being a member. This stigma won't last but it'll take a 4+ years minimum for it to fade.
