Please consider checking out the counseling available to you through the school, or an outside source. It is perfectly normal to feel this way when you go away to school, and there is absolutely no shame in seeking out someone to talk to. I felt the same way when I was a freshman, and talking to a counselor was the best thing that I could possibly have done. I'm a sophomore now, and things are so much better for me now. Maybe it won't be the super cure that it was for me, but it's a viable option, and there's no harm in trying it.
