My friend had to drop her sorority before initiation because her parents decided they would not pay for it, and they wanted her to focus on only her studies for freshman year. They said if she gets a job during the school year and summer, she can rush again the next fall and pay for it herself. But how likely is it that she will get another bid? Will sororities just cut her automatically because she is a sophomore? Especially after she accepted a bid? She loved the one she was in, and we all miss her already :( Any advice or experience would help!
