so true re old guard but the wonderful thing is that some people of that old generation actually have the ability to see that things have changed and are open to their children/grandchildren pledging whatever they want. It still is usually old row in state, but at least it's by their own choice. I would always hope my kids would choose what fits them and not what fit me.
