Jesus. Give it a chance before you decide to drop. At this point, you have the best of what you're going to get. I know it sucks sometimes getting a house that you weren't initially in love with... That was my case. I rushed as a freshman and only had one house on pref and said house was one of "my bottom" houses. And I seriously understand where you're coming from. You see so many other girls fawn over their sororities and it makes you feel bad because you wish that could be you... BUT IT TAKES TIME. Yes there are girls who get their favorite houses but trust me there are lots more girls that are disappointed. As I said, at this point you've got the best of what you could get. Beggers can't be choosers and rush as a junior is VERY uncommon and houses do not want upperclassmen. EVERY house here is amazing. You need to keep in mind that sorority life is a two way street - you get out what you put in. Are you actively trying to meet new girls? Are you choosing to sit alone during meetings, lunch, etc? Are you passing up opportunities with people to hang out? Try harder.
