I honestly felt the same way! You should really stick it out until initiation and make sure you don't actually like your house, but if you don't, for sure drop. You shouldn't pay thousands and thousands of dollars for a house that you don't love. Yes, rerushing as a sophomore is super risky and there is always a chance of not getting a house, but if you come back sophomore year with a great rep and kill it, then I think you'll be fine. Just look at the risk and ask yourself if you're ok with no greek life your freshman year. You absolutely dont need to feel obligated to stay in a house that you don't like.
