y'all, there is a girl on my hall who was dropped by all sororities but one after the first round, and she is contemplating rushing again next fall as a Sophomore. I asked her why she wanted to, and she said she thinks the houses all dropped her because she's really overweight and doesn't fit the image they look for. she says she wants to lose a bunch of weight so that she can be healthy, but also because she thinks it might help her have a better chance of rushing next year, and she wants my advice. i really don't know what to tell her, because i don't know how sororities do cuts and how they determine who they keep and who they release. any help??? i really don't have any idea on whether i should encourage her to rush again next year or not to.
