I've seen girls rush at Bama, not get the houses they deem worthy, and transfer. But at Alabama, there have only been a few that do that. At Ole Miss, it was so bad that they moved rush to well after school starting. Now, if you don't get what you want at Ole Miss, you'll lose a whole semester's worth of grades, tuition etc. by transfering right then. I always thought it was stupid. If you pledge somewhere else and transfer, there's no guarantee the chapter will affiliate you. Yes, some sororities have a policiy of affiliating everybody, but not all do. Even if they do, you might not be quite as accepted as someone who pledged there. We had a few girls transfer in and affiliate. They were valued and beloved members.
